What Are Arcane Lineage Gears?
If you've been playing Arcane Lineage for a while, you might remember the old Accessory system. It's gone now. In its place, we have Arcane Lineage gears—a completely reworked equipment mechanic that launched around April 2025.
Here's what you need to know upfront: you can equip up to 4 gears at the same time. No duplicates—you cannot equip two of the same gear. And as of the latest update, there are 40 total gears in the game, giving you a ton of build flexibility.
Arcane Lineage gears aren't just stat sticks. They do interesting things. Some increase your drop rate (7 Leafed Everthistle). Some give you a 100% escape chance (The Biggest Pebble). Others let you heal your team for 2% of the damage you deal (Parasitic Leech). You're not just chasing bigger numbers—you're chasing effects that change how you play.
This guide covers every gear: what it does, where to get it, and how to use it.
How Gears Work in Arcane Lineage
Before we get into the individual gears, let's cover the basics. The Arcane Lineage gear system is simple but has some important rules.
You can only equip 4 gears at once. That's it. No more, no less. You'll need to choose carefully because 40 gears exist, and you only have 4 slots.
No duplicates. You can't stack two of the same gear. If you have two 7 Leafed Everthistles, you can only equip one. This forces you to diversify.
Gears come from three main sources: enemy drops (most gears), quest rewards (some), and boss drops (few). There's no gear shop. You have to farm.
Some gears give active abilities. Arbusta Tear gives you Arbusta Fragrance (taunt). The Biggest Pebble gives you Pebble (100% escape chance). These appear as new buttons on your toolbar.
Some gears change how your stats work. Pathfinder Mark makes Strike scale off Endurance instead of Strength. That's a build-defining effect for tanky characters who still want to deal damage.
Where to Find Every Gear
Arcane Lineage gears are spread across different biomes and enemy types. Here's the breakdown by location based on current data.
The Crossing (starting area):
Arbusta Tear (any mob)
The Biggest Pebble (any mob)
Pathfinder Mark (any mob)
Forest Charm (Grass Spirit)
Parasitic Leech (Goblins)
Spore Root (Zombie Mushrooms)
Shattered Clock Hand (Thieves)
Other locations (Desert, Deeproot Canopy, Mount Thul): The data you provided doesn't list specific gears for these biomes yet. But based on the game's structure, you'll find higher-tier gears in later areas. Expect boss drops from Desert dungeons, Deeproot bosses, and Mount Thul encounters.
Quest / NPC rewards: Some gears are locked behind quests. The Crossing has several NPCs that give gear as quest completion rewards.
Boss drops: The rarest gears come from bosses. These usually have the most powerful effects.
Special spawns: 7 Leafed Everthistle is unique. It doesn't drop from enemies. It rarely spawns in place of a normal Everthistle plant in the world. You have to find it.
Best Gears for Different Builds
Not all Arcane Lineage gears are created equal. Some are universally useful. Others are niche. Here's what works for different playstyles.
For farming and loot hunting:
- 7 Leafed Everthistle (1.85x drop rate) is mandatory. Equip this before farming any enemy.
- The Biggest Pebble (100% escape) lets you run from bad fights without wasting time.
For tanks and frontliners:
- Spore Root applies Poison and Weakened when you block/parry. Great for Lancer or Paladin.
- Pathfinder Mark makes Strike scale with Endurance. Perfect for high-END builds that still want damage.
- Arbusta Tear forces enemies to target you. That's a taunt effect—essential for protecting squishy teammates.
For damage dealers:
- Shattered Clock Hand (30% chance to lower cooldowns by 1 when using Strike) is excellent for any class that spams Strike. More uptime on your big abilities.
- Parasitic Leech heals your whole team for 2% of your damage. On a high-DPS build like Berserker or Assassin, that's significant sustain.
For Nature-focused builds:
- Forest Charm gives 25% Nature damage buff everywhere, plus an extra 15% in The Crossing. If you're playing Ranger or any class with Nature damage, this is non-negotiable.
For general use:
- Parasitic Leech is good on almost any damage build. Free team healing with no downside.
- Shattered Clock Hand is good on any build that uses Strike regularly (which is almost everyone).
